Hey all,

New to the whole Bitpim movement here, just wondering if there's anyway to sync it up with bluetooth or do you have to use a USB connection?

I've never actually used Bitpim before, but I don't think it works through Bluetooth sorry. I think you have to use a USB cord w/ your phone. Hope this helps.

Yeah, so far it's pretty cool... Had it less than a day so i'm reluctant to say too much about it yet. I spent a lot of time reading over reviews and the forums before getting it though so i'm pretty confident. Plus i stopped in at three different Verizon stores, 1 in ohio, and 2 in MI and it seamed like every Verizon rep i talked to either had the Env or the previous version and they all loved em... So far the only thing i don't like is the lack of options for that email button. kinda pointless if your not going to use the thing for email... and wish the UI was a bit more configureable(Font sizes for example) but what phone is these days. Can't wait till my SD card comes in so i can play with those functions. Neway, laterz

Yeah, i used to work as a greeter at a few Verizon stores and I know all the local reps have the enV as well. It's a raelly good phone. Just wait untill you get that MIcroSD card for it though it really opens up the phone as to what you can do w/ it. I play ALL of my music, videos, and pictures on it. the camera is amazing. You can take nice 2 MP pictures and set them up as wall paper on your computer or print them off which I've done and they look amazing. if you put music on your phone, it sounds loud and VCast Music will automatically categorize all of your Music which is pretty cool. Another thing that's cool w/ the enV is not just Bluetooth but stereo bluetooth. Since I obviously just bought mine, so far, i think they're awesome.

I'm thinking of purchasing the enV phone and I'm trying to find out if it can be hard-wired synched with outlook. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hard-wired synched w/ Outlook? All I know is that you can bay that $19.99 a month for Wireless synch but I'm not sure if that's what you're asking for..sorry. I've never actually done wireless synch before although I'd love to try.

I've heard that you can use the office/music essentials kit to do a hard-wired synch. Do you know anything about it?

No, unfortunately I don't. Sorry however, if I did know about it, I'd definitely help you out about it though of course. I've just never used it before thats all.

Bitpim works just fine with Bluetooth. I use it every day with my enV.

Just like with the USB cable, you'll need to have the correct drivers installed.
