LG enV VX-9900

I have looked through out this forum and others and have found nothing referring to this problem but it is driving me crazy! I have the enV and Plantronics 855, I don't have any problem with calls or listening to music but when I try to listen to a talk program saved in MP3 (podcast?) there is no sound at all. If I turn off the BT then the program comes thru the speaker just fine. I had the Motorola s9 and it worked fine on that but they hurt my ears and the voice reception wasn't good. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!
