Bluetooth and the 6315i

Does anybody know if this phone can actually do the bluetooth things like it was advertised to do. The only bluetooth capability I can make work is the ear piece. Where is the data services and all the bluetooth music transfer stuff. The add at the verizon store made this something like the perfect phone. I think I was taken for a oneway rip off ride

Only one VZW phone has ever supported OBEX and VZW wouldn't even admit it did. That was the Nokia 6256i. The latest VZW phones will support Object push for Vcards, Headset and Handsfree profiles, some will support DUN, and some will support stereo bluetooth for music. Open OBEX probably won't be supported on VZW phones for quite some time if ever. I'm pretty sure the folks in the advertising department learned their lesson with the V710 class action suit and I can promise you there is no false advertising in regards to what Bluetooth options are enabled on the phones. I wouldn't be shocked if you were dealing with an un-trained rep who might not understand all of the options. If that's the case, take it back. They give you a 15 day Wo...

I can understand that, however, the card that hangs above the phone in their store is clear in reporting all the bluetooth capabilities this phone has or as i should say had. The cards list multiple bluetooth options like data transfer and music transfer.
