MP3 ringtone / USB cable help

does anyone know how to convert the MP3 on this phone into ringtones or make ringtones from MP3 that you can transfer over using the USB cable. thanks

I am looking for the same thing. I would like to put set some of my mp3s as my ringtone. I really hope that they did not do this on purpose just so that we would have to purchase ringtones.

Check this site...you need to have the vision package or you'll pay 2cents per Kb or data transfer.

It's $2.50 and the 90 day expiration is for the computer downloads. The stuff you buy won't expire on your phone. Know your **** if you're gonna talk about it

I understand you just need to rename the files on the card or before you transfer them to the phone to the new extention, but I haven't tried it yet, my phone should be here by Thursday. 🤤 Let me know if that works.

OK Folks, I was right: just nickel and dime. Here is respond from Sprint on this question:

Thank you for contacting Sprint together with Nextel. I will be happy to assist you regarding transferring Ringtones to your phone.

I have reviewed the user guide for your phone, and I apologize but there doesn't seem to be a way to transfer ringers to your new phone that you already have downloaded to your computer. Sprint has many ringers that you can purchase, to do this through the Sprint website, please use the following instructions:

1. Log on to http://www.sprint.com, select ?My Sprint Wireless? in the Manage accounts drop down.
2. Enter your PCS Phone Number in the User Name section and account password in the Password section and ...
