Anyone able to put movies on this phone yet? And if so what program did you use and are you able to turn the video sideways so a widescreen video would use up more of the screen if you turned the phone sideways? Thanks for your help in advance.

yeah i have two vids on the phone basically i turned mpeg into 3g2 format and just trans to my sd card. i used xilisoft 3gp converter (the trial vers) which only allows max 2 mins of conversion. And yes you can play it sideways so the display is bigger which i find really cool!!! if anyone knows where i can find a converter to 3g2 for free plz let me know!!!!

If you downlaod the pc suite from the nokia.com site, you can turn a whole movie into a 3pg video via the multimedia player/converter. (yes it is free!!!!)I have a bunch of dave chappelle episodes and x-men 3 on my phone and they play fine. They look a bit pixelated but they give you something to do when you are bored. and yes you can turn them sideways. you can put them on your card and then transfer them to the phones memory if you want(and if they could fit) Have fun!

go into the multimedia player, open the movie that you want to convert, then there should be an icon that looks like a floppy disk where it lets you save as. ( if the floppy disk icon isn't available, then the movie that you want to convert might not be compatible, try a differnt movie.) there it has a drop down list that lets you choose the size limit of the 3pg. hope this helps. let me know if it doesn't!

you can't sync it w/the nokia software. The software is only used to make compatible videos for you phone. then you put them on your phone via the micro card.

try a setting that has the same screen size that your using now followed by no limit and you will be fine. you might have to play around to see which setting does it but it works. I have full lentgh movies like emily rose and xmen 3 on my phone.

Hi, all settings that i have tried to change i changed the size to 177x144 and still it only converted about 12 seconds worth of video, is there any special type of file that can be converted especially the larger movie files, like .avi, .mpeg, and so on. thx
