Speaker blown???
I had the 8100 and got my 8500 in the mail yesterday. LOVE THE PHONE, really love it but the speaker sounds like it is blown or something, in compaison to the 8100. so is it just my phone and I can go take it to a store and get a new one when they come out. or do all the chocolate's just dont have a good speaker???

i dunno 'bout the speaker but my girlfriend came over and .....oh never mind. i can't compare sounds cuz i don't have an 8100. im charging my 8500 now, ill check the speaker in a bit.

the speaker on mine sounds a little crackly but idk maybe the speaker on all of the phones is pretty bad

Yea, mine cracks every once in a while as it plays a song. I think it's normal for all the phones, unfortunately.

I have noticed that the sound quality isn't that great either. I wasn't expecting bose quality, but for something marketed as an mp3 player, I guess I was hoping for a little better.
Still a big fan of the phone, really comes in handy as a mini stereo when you are on the in a hotel room away from your music collection.
