Connect/Sync Failure
Okay to put it simply, I have the Chocolate and it's been failing to sync/connect with my computer. I have two USB ports and have tried both, so it's not the ports. My brother has a chocolate and I've tried his as well, connect/sync failure too. I installed Music Essentials software and tried to sync. The program itself says that I couldn't find a phone, the phone says that the connection has failed. I've also tried Windows Media Player as well. I doubt it's my USB cable because it's new and I doubt it would be broken.

Same thing happened to me. I called Verizon and they said they have been having problems with this since the phone came out. The only resolution to this is to get a flash card reader and load song that way. The only problem is that most of the songs you download from V Cast are copy-righted. To bypass the copy-right, burn the songs on a cd and then rip them back to your computer. Then sync to the memory card via card reader.
Also, call Verizon to let them know of your problem, they credited my account for the song I downloaded - but you can keep the songs 🙂

One more question, if I get the microSD and card reader. What would I have to do after plugging it in? Just drag and drop?
