if i get this phone unlocked and use my cingular SIM...will cingular help me if i have problems, or will i have to call LG...and even then...will they (LG) help me??

It's true. There is no way for you to use the chocolate with a gsm company. There is not even an space for you to insert your sim card. the only company you could maybe use the phone with would be sprint, altel, or virgin mobile (other cdma companies). Definitely not with Cingular.

BUT you can get the GSM version...please check the web!!!! they even come in white!!! Get the unlocked gsm version and you will be able to use it with a sim card...check out mobilecityonline.com

yeah thats true GSM chocolates are available. In fact the gsm chocolate was the first version to be released in Korea and Europe(might I add way nicer and a bit smaller). You can definately use your unlocked chocolate and either go cingy or Tmobile but you are not gonna get much support from either. You definately wont have web access and just pretty much basic features like voice and sms
