LG VX-8500 Chocolate

VZNavigator on VX8500

I currently have a Samsung 930, which I love, but I am thinking about getting a Strawberry Chocolate. I use the VZNavigator pretty often. On my 930, when I am using the navigator, I can close my phone and it will still give me the directions. However, my husband has the LG 8300, and when we use the navigator on his and close it, it cancels the application. I am wondering how it works on the Chocolate...If I shut the phone, will it still work??

Well I think if you change the settings on the chocolate to only disconnect when you hit end than you should be fine. If you don't do this I think it would end your connection. I have the chocolate but don't us VZ Nav yet.
