Why is WiFi support for SDIO cards disabled?

Let me guess........Verizon and Sprint want to make sure we pay their outrageous data charges?

Verizon and Sprint both offer other PDA-phones with built-in Wi-Fi. I think it's more of a Palm OS / driver issue.

I know they offer phones with built-in WiFi. How come there's nothing in the 650 specs about not supporting SDIO WiFi?

Palm has an SDIO WiFi Card for the 700W and the following PALM OS devices:
Tungsten E2, Tungsten T3, Tungsten T5, Zire 72

just pay the sh*t man. It's not all that bad. Plus, I'd rather have evdo data access anywhere rather than be tied down to an access point.

As often as I need to access the net from my phone, Verizon can take their $49.99/month unlimited data access and .............

Besides, I'd only need it in places where there's WiFi anyway.
