Does Versamail force synching of contacts, events with Exchange
I'm preparing to use versamial on my treo 700p and it tells me that I'll be dropping all contacts/events on the server. I just want to sync e-mail. Do I have to sync contacts/events and can I keep syncing with ACT, as I'm currently doing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert, but I setup Versamail to my Google email account with no problem. I then tried to add my work email that connects to a Microsoft Exchange Server. I did all of the setup and learned that my company would not permit me to connect (they would not grant me Online Mobile Access or whatever it is called).
Just creating the Exchanger Serve account in Versamail triggered my HotSync to stop syncing the calendar and contacts because it would be syncing via the server. I deleted the Versamail work setup, but it did not restore my ability to HotSync. I tried to change the pc's HotSync default back so they would sync, but it kept giving me an error. Finally, I called Sprint support and they were kind enough to stay on the phone and...
