2gb sd memory card not working

I have a 1 gb sd memory card working well in my 700p and I just picked up a "Corsair" 60x 2gb SD memory card.

It doesn't make the little beep sound when I click it in or out like it does with the 1gb card.

Is there a limit to card memory space for the 700p or do I have a bad memory card?

Same for me. I got a Corsair 2gb sd card when they were $10 at microcenter, but it wouldn't recognize it. They gave me no problems returning it the next day and said it seems to be common (I didn't know if it was the size, brand, or ???? that was making it a common issue)
