Replying to: myspace on the treo by thatguy_overthere
i realize this is a little old but if you're still telling your customers to use the web browser to get to myspace from their treo, the reason they're giving you the "DUH" look is because myspace is loaded with graphics and videos, which means very large files, which means lots of data, causing two problems. one, myspace pages take long enough to load up at home/work with a cable/dsl/fiber/t-1 connection as it is, rediculously slow on a cell phone. two, the service providers charge a lot for surfing the ol' information superhighway. you may be paying thirty bucks or more for 10MB of data per month, which won't take long after a little myspace visit, and then you pay the usual arm and a leg for every byte or so after that. A good "myspace application" would reduce most of the graphics, be more of a text-based thing, but still give users the option to see pictures if they wanted to. unless a website was designed specifically for a pda, most of them, even if they are functional, are not set up efficiently enough for today's cell phones.
