Help with Q/700p/700w choice....

Long time reader, first time poster...

I am also one of the v710 people and need to decide rather quickly. I understand in general the differences between the phones, but would like more input. I'm simply just growing tired of having multiple devices.

Having said that I would like a phone first and PDA type functions second. I am a heavy PDA user (Calendar, Contacts, Notes, etc.) but input almost all by hand to keep my personal life off of my work calendar. I do sync with Microsoft Outlook 2003 at home.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Heeeeeelp! 😳

i have the same situation, though im a mac user, so i went with the 700p for sync availability and overall quality. with a windows based os, i am afraid of it shutting down or restarting, also it wont be so easy to sync for me. i also like the memory slot and software options

I'm curious about the 700w/700p issue as well. I'm a windows user that likes the big screen of the 700p, the look of the 700w, and the functionality of the 700p (it seems simplier to use).

I have both the 700w and 700p. If you want a phone with PDA functions, go with the 700P. The 700W offers streaming videos, mobile TV, XM Radio, and all that other "Windows" stuff, but isn't that great for ease of use in a business environment. Both are really good devices. The 700P has a better dial pad and much more friendly user interface.

Thanks for the info Socalsurfer! That helps a lot and fits in with what others have told me.
