prepaid help plz
My cousin is giving me her sidekick 3 😁 (because shes getting a Treo) and I have a prepaid sim card already but her sidekick wasn't prepaid. How do i use my prepaid sim card with a non prepaid sidekick? 🤨 Thanks in advance

If you just want to use it as a phone then you can press the menu button (the button with 3 parallel lines) and the L button at the same time when the "waiting for activation" screen appears. This will only allow you use the SK3 for the phone and SMS services and will deduct from you balance accordingly. If you want the sidekick data service with the prepaid then you need to buy a sidekick prepaid activation kit which costs around $100. This allows you to have the sidekick data feature (unlimited SMS, internet, email, and data download) that those with a contract get for $20 a month for $1 a day. You can check your balance by pressing #225# "send." That supplies you with your balance and the date of expiration.
