I know you admit that you realize the difference/popularity, but to add in.....
I work at one of the busiest data cingular stores in my area and we haven't sold a Treo in about a month. Most people quickly gravitate to a BlackBerry or Cingular 8125 after looking at the Treo's. We also have a list of about 10 people waiting for the 7130 and about half of those are going to be paying the full retail price because they're not eligible for upgrades.
I've never seen a BlackBerry freeze, so I think that's why they are more popular than Treo's.
As soon as we officially support the Microsoft Direct Push, I think devices like the 8125 will quickly take over BlackBerry's share and squeeze out Treo except in instances where there's software that is Treo-specific.
