had it a week so far. pretty cool altough i am not a computer guy so i don't know how to use half of it's capabilites so far. few observations and questions:
1. when in a call, and i press buttons for passwords and such, it clicks and pauses, very annoying, thinking it might be a bad phone?
2. can't turn on the speaker phone for the life of me. found the menu and select it and it never stays selected. also when i select other menu options like 'outdoor' sometimes it takes and sometimes it doesn't and reverts back to 'normal'.
3. ringer is way to quiet, but others have said it's too loud? std ringtones suck. added others myself through the browser, but when i select them, again, it doesn't take and picks one on it's own.

Alright well I can help you on most of those things:

1. This is not the case on my handset. It could be a bad unit, or maybe you have too many things running.

wow, thanks! I checked the ringer and it's at loud already. then selected another ringtone, still goes back to default, same with type like 'outdoor', select it, it works, then magically goes back to normal. you are right on email, must not have set it up. the clicks and pauses are still present. going back to verizon to try another one. thanks for help though. ohhh, act is a contact management software, best i've used, and i've tried everything to sync it to no avail. even tried to convert act data to outlook which worked, but still couldn't even sync outlook either. i am such a non-techy, that i will be greatfull when we can talk to these darn things to get stuff done.
