The PN-820 does look intriguing. I currently have the silver Q, which is awesome when it works, but a pain when it doesn't (as i've had more than one since i got it). In comparison to the Q, is it better, worse, or the same thing in a different shell?

I've had 5 Q's...and hand's down this is MUCH BETTER PHONE. The only real negative (but I'm willing to deal with it because of the phone) is that it's not he most attractive phone out there. It pretty much does what the Q does...only better because it actually works!

I had the Q twice and both times wasn't sure about the likeability of it and decided to return them. Too bulky. Too slow. Always having to close the task manager to stop running programs from draining the battery. Then I found the PN820 and I am in love with this phone. In a clamshell, it is a perfect fit and so far very reliable. I actually am getting ready to send in the rebate offer and cut off the uPC code. That is real proof of commitment. I love this phone. Compact. Good-looking. Next time ditch the antenna stub and you got the perfect PDA.

The Q was so bad that I took it back and rehooked up my 700w, but am thinking about the 820.
