does anyone know if this phone syncs the same way that a q does with an exchange server thru active sync? I much prefer a flip to the q style. I also dont care that much about style. If this is a flip smartphone that works I will be extremely happy--Cant wait to get rid of my ridiculously unpredictable q. I dont do that much responding to emails or texting so the T9 text system works very well for me. Also improves my spelling---

100%

Runs windows mobile 5 smartphone edition. Can use active sync local with usb connection or exchange active sync with wireless.

As it is the smartphone edition and not the regular windows mobile software, you're not getting NOTES synced. But I don't believe the Q syncs notes either.

I have the working fine on the pn820.

Had to install a verizon signed application so I could install our self signed ssl cert. Not a big deal just a few extra steps.

With this phone on evdo and our exchange server running the messaging and security update, having the messages pushed blackberry style with no txt messages behind the scene is really nice!

craven, I have been struggling with importing my self signed certificate from my Kerio mail server. It is a server.cer certificate. I get the error that the phone does not have sufficient privliages to import the cert. Where did you get the verizon signed application so I can import a self signed ssl cert? Where does the application have to be run from, root or my documents? Appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks.
