notification setting
my phone is set to vibe and when i send text messages, how do i get the phone to stop/not vibrate when the message is sent successfully? i tried the notification setting and there are only setting for sending MMS messages.
the vibe is especially annoying b/c when i try to stop the vibe-ing by dismissing the notification or pressing any button, it will keep vibe-ing forever.. in reality it is only about 5 seconds.. but if and when i send many messages, it get very annoying..
any help on how to remedy this problem?

Not sure if this will accomplish what you want, but if you click on the volume icon next to the time on the top of the screen before you text and pick "off," that should shut down eveything. When you're done with heavy texting, turn the volume or vibrate back on.
You're probably looking for a more permanent soultion, but I have a feeling that may require hacking or a utility software package.

i think you're right. i've tried everything and that seems to be the only viable solution.

If you're talking about doing away with the message sent notification, which will also stop the annoying vibration, everytime a message is sent, then try on of the following......
****NOTE, if you're note sure about changing registry settings "DO NOT" use these steps, you USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK, but I know they work****
You will also need a program like Total Commander or Resco Registry Tool.
Disable the SMS Sent notification
If you're tired of the "Message Sent" notification after sending an SMS/text message, you can disable them:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoS entMsg = 1 (DWORD decimal)
And to re-enable:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoS entMsg = 0 (DWORD decimal)
Or you can use:

I hate that notification msg, so the remedy? just remove it hehe Get yourself a registry editor, google PHM registry editor I think, it works great! You just won't get the msg to pop up after you send a msg, thus not vibrating to let you know as well.

hmm.. do you think there would be a way to only stop the vibration for sent text messages?
i dont mind the pop up as much as the vibe.. you cant even cut the vibe short with any buttons!!.
anyhow.. if i have to hack the registry.. i might just have to live with it..

hacking the registy is a piece of cake. as for the vibration...its kinda an all for one deal....you either get both or none.
