What is the difference between the 8525 and the TyTN?
I currently have an 8100 and am looking to upgrade to an HTC TyTN or 8525. There is a price difference of about $100 for unlocked phones with no service contract. The TyTN is more expensive and I am wondering why.

More or less, the 8525 is a branded tytn. IE Cingular 8525.

Yeah, I had a TyTn and there are minor differences.
They TyTn has a front camera which you cant use here anyway and the keys are different on the front.
The 8525 actually has nicer keys
