HTC TyTN / 8525 / JasJam (Hermes)

Here is my problem i talk on my bluetooth headset or the headset that came with the phone, but keeps tell me its really loud and that my tv in the background is really loud or the music. I know its not loud b/c i can barely hear it so i was wondering if there is anyway to turn down the input volume on the phone when using a headset using normal OS or some third party application like a different interface or something.
