Verizon V3m microSD failed

I have a new V3m. I purchased a 2gig Kingston microSD card.

The phone sees it as unformatted. When I try to format it in the phone it states that is has failed.

How can I get it to work with the phone? Is the card too big for the phone?

This is a Kingston SDC/2GBKR

Update

I returned the Kingston card and got a PQI 2gig card.

That one was recognized and was able to format it in the phone.

Maybe Kingston is not the same since they where bought out?

Motorola recommends SanDisk only for anything over 1GB. They are printing that in all of the new manuals.

My phone seems to work with the PQI 2gig card I have.

At least the phone was able to format that one and see it when I look at the info on it.

When will Motorola/Verizon put in their manuals what sizes the phone will take?

Will it take bigger than 2gig?
