Pink RAZR V3m
I tried one of these in a Verizon store, and had to be really careful where I held it so people could hear me. Has anyone else had that problem? I'm debating this one (in pink) vs the much simpler LG VX 3450.

That might be because of the noise around you..
I have the Silver, and I talk directly into the microphone (lower right pinhole under the # sign).
I talk politely,(meaning I don't force everyone around me to hear me too!) and, one of the benefits of Motorola phones, is you get 'sidetone' which means you can hear your voice while you talk. (Like wearing the headphones in a radio station while on the air).
I find I have no problem being heard even while someone sitting next to me on a shuttle bus can't hear a word I speak.
I am satisfied with the RAZR V3M.
