Q: Using Bluetooth to connect to laptop for data/Internet

I have a RAZR V3c with the .4 firmware. I am considering a new Mac laptop, and a friend mentioned that I might be able to use Bluetooth to connect the V3c to the Mac laptop and then get a data connection (via Verizon) to the Internet. Of course, this assumes I am paying Verizon for the Internet access via the phone.

Has anyone done this or seen this in action? I plan on stopping by the Verizon Wireless store too, but thought I'd ask here since I get inconsistent answers from Verizon Wireless (read: depends on the knowledge of the staff that day).

Thx,
Peter

Yes, it is a plan feature called BroadbandAccess Connect. It is only available on a few phones, but the V3c/m are capable.

It will cost $59....
