What happened to the OBEX on the V3m?

OBEX was on the original V3c .02, gone on the .03 and back on the .04 firmware & phone.

Why did they take it away again on the V3m?

It left in the .03 firmware and you only got it back with .04 if you had upgraded from .02

To make a long story short OBEX=NO NO at VZW

Sorry 😢

Well, that was my point; there is no consistency to the policy. It's not No No, but rather sometimes.

On the RAZR, the first and last releases only. The Nokia 6256i had it, the V had it and so does the Q.

There is no pattern, GIN/ BREW, manufacturer, etc. The same phone model was released in December with it, February without, April with.

Sorry??
So how is it that the Motorola Q HAS OBEX???
What's the difference here? Is ther any Verizon rep. out there who can answer that question? Be brave and come foward.

No BREW/ GIN on the Q will be the excuse, but that doesn't explain the V3c/.02,.04 the Nokia 6256i or the V does it?

Really GIN security has nothing to do with Bluetooth. Those folders are not accessible by BT.
