Is there a way to silence the "turn on" and "turn off" music?
I don't like announcing to the world each time I turn on (or off) my phone. How can one stop the music?

Put your phone to ring style "all off" (silent mode). Your phone will no longer make sounds when you turn it on or off. Hope this helps.

This is another good example of where Verizon does not get it, let alone get is now.
If you use this phone for business, you do not want a sound when it goes on or off AND you want it to vibrate strongly first and then ring if you do not notice the vibrate.
Dear Verizon, you obviously know your are in competition because you keep trying to get two and three year contracts. How about giving us what we want for a change? Your network is no longer superior. Your service is no longer better. You release defective or deliberately limited products. The marketplace will react to you unless you react to it.
