im thinking of buying my friend's razr. its a cingular phone but i have verizon service. is ther anyway to make them work? i need to know asap.

no...cingular and verizon are completely different networks...cingular is GSM and verizon is CDMA...there is no way to do that...take your friends razr and go activate it on cingular...
