Got my V3M Today!
I ordered a V3C two weeks ago as part of the V710 settlement. I had waited as long as I could in hopes the V3M would be out in time.
I had followed the instructions on Howard Forums to enable OBEX (downgraded to VZW S/W version .02 then upgraded back to .04) and had customized the ring tones, wallpapers, etc.
Although I am not crazy about the VZW UI (I much prefer the Moto UI of the V710.), I did not dislike it enough to flash it to the Alltel version and dig into all of the SEEM edits required to make the phone functional on the VZW network.
I noticed the V3M was available yesterday, and I immediately made arrangements to return my V3C to stay within the 15 day trial period.

Does this phone have the red lines on the top and the bottom that you cant change like on the v3c or is it changable?

Its the identical phone as V3c. There is a pictures v3m on howardforum.com.

Could you try and/or check the manual- does this adaptor allow the use of a regular wired headset?
(NOT STEREO but normal microphone headset hands free combo?)

The adapter is from mini USB to 2.5 mm. I use a separate adapter you can get from VZWSHOP.com (got it for use with my samsung a950 prior to upgrading) to convert from 2.5mm to standard stereo headset 3.5mm, and use my ipod headphones.
