Motorola RAZR V3m

Well i am on my 2nd razr, this time a v3m. my last one (v3c) started sounding garbled when ringing and when my alarm clock sounded. Then it slowly lost all sound output and i couldn't even hear it ring anymore. My new one is starting to do the same. I dont use the speaker phone but i rely on the alarm clock and a loud ringer due to my loud work surroundings. Is the moto speaker just not up to par? seems like its blowing out?
