Motorola W315

I have this phone. My trial period ends Thursday (Dec. 7). I have just about decided to keep it because it is a great phone as far as reception and sound goes. My mother, who is in her 80s and hearing impaired says she can hear me so much better on this Motorola W315 than my last phone.

The hinge on my phone wiggles slightly when the flip is closed but no wiggle when open. Solid. The volume is good. I'd rather have to turn it down than wish I could turn it up louder than the loudest. I get just as good reception with the antenna down as extended.

I have never downloaded ringtones or wallpaper anyway, so I won't miss what I never had. I'm not crazy about the color (maroon with Alltel). I'd rather have silver, grey or black. I would trade it in for another phone, different color, if I could be sure the sound and reception would be as great as this one. But I don't have that guarantee, so I'll probably stick with this phone. Having a good PHONE is the most important thing to me.

If someone wants a good basic cell phone with speakerphone and text message ability without a camera or bluetooth I would recommend this cell phone.
