I've been all over Houston looking for the USB cable but no one has it. Then I discovered that you can load the microSD card if you have a universal card reader on your computer and the adaptor that comes with the microcard. I maxed a 1 Gig card out in less than 30 minutes. Its very fast this way. Then I popped it into the phone and had all my pictures and MP3 just like I wanted. I don't plan on spending 40$ bucks on the cable now. Still don't have a headphones though.

Cingular stores that sell the CU500 now have a Music Bundle accessory pack, which includes a USB cable and a stereo headset. The store I went to ran out, so I checked on cingular.com and they had it there. And, online doesn't charge for shipping (unless you request overnight delivery). So, basically you can get BOTH a usb cable and headset from Cingular for the exact same price that LG sells just the usb cord on their website.

This all seems silly, and very Verizonlike. I mean, I already have a variety of headphones, three phone headsets, and every kind of standard USB cable. A $5 adapter I wouldn't mind. But $40?

Of course, what you have said is true. And if you don't change your MP3 library often, this may be fine for you. If, on the other hand, you want to sync every day with a new playlist that you make on your computer, taking out the battery and microSD card, inserting the card into the reader, attaching the reader, and then doing the reverse after the transfer, can become a pain.

I have a Mini Bluetooth USB Dongle that I bought from The Wireless Emporium. It works pretty good, but I guess a cable might be faster.
