I am sorry but I don't have a solution for you. Mine has been doing the same thing on and off for about 2 months now. I replaced my chargers and battery and it still happened at times. This last time I couldn't get my phone to power on for 2 days and it would not take a charge. Needless to say, I complained and I am geting a new phone since I am still under warranty. I decided to check it today and it powered on and took a charge with no problems. My new phone should be here tomorrow and I think I will keep the new phone. This is my second LG CU500 phone in less than 10 months due to problems that seemingly should have a simple solution or software upgrade

. I really like my LG, but this is getting to be a pain.
