When you plug in USB, does find it SOMETIMES? or all the time?

Well SOMETIMES i have no problem putting in new songs, but there are days when i plug it in, it says its connected but when i go on My computer it says theres no drive E in it! this is hella stupid and then when i unplug it, the phone cant read the card. I tried that Engenering menu crap but it doesnt work all the time only sometimes. Does this happen to you?
