CU500 in MI

I live in MI and my Cingular retailer told me this phone wouldn't be available until the end of the month (Sept). How did everyone else get there's so early, what gives?

you probably dont have 3G in ur area...

I am pretty sure it's coming to my area. The retailer said they had to wait for it to be passed. So that's what I have to wait for 3G.
