I just kind of wanted to know what everyone else was getting. make sure you post if you are in a 3G area or not too.

I'm not getting very good speeds in San Diego on the 3G network. i'm averaging about 45-52KB/sec.

Is that using Bluetooth or USB? Have you tried both?

Now that I have actually paired the phone with my laptop, I got 41-42 KB/s when transferring a large file from my laptop to the phone via Bluetooth. Since you also used it through Bluetooth, I would say that is the reason for the slower speed.

Atlanta should be faster than that because it has UMTS with HSPDA.

Note the capital B in KB, usually it means kilobytes - this is close to 900 kilobits/second, which is pretty good speed for HSDPA...

Mine goes from 532 kbps to 1210 kbps
Thought USB in Seattle no bandwidth limitation with USB

If you are using Bluetooth 1.1-1.2 you max speed will be 735kbps due to the Bluetooth
Does not matter if you get version 2 on computer the device have version 1.1 so you will always have a small pipe there. Even if you get higher speeds reported to you from test site, it does not see the funnel you have the device plugged into.
