Cingular or at&t?

Im going on friday to buy the LG cu500v. If I put my cingular sim in it, will it say cingular or at&t? Will they charge me for a new at&t 3g sim?

You should still be able to use your Cingular SIM card. Last month or so I looked at my phone and the banner that usually says "Cingular" changed and it now says "AT&T" so I came to the conclusion that the network has control of what the LG Cu500 banner says.
