Glitch w/ 1MB Memory

When I have my 1MB memory in my phone, and I turn on the phone's camera and set the resolution to PICTURE ID, the phone freezes and shows a small BSOD, then the phone restarts and powers back on again. However, when I don't have the memory card inside, the resolution can be set to PICTURE ID without any problems. Is this just me and a problem with just my phone? Please try this out and tell me if the same is happening.

There is no memory card that says 1MB.
Theres 1GB
2GB
4GB

Anyway when you take a picture in Picture ID , in mine it used to take a long time, but with a sofware upgrade it worked fine.
