Samsung SCH-A990

I was having battery problems and have seen several other people in these forums with the same problem. My battery was only lasting 24-36 hours on a full charge with only one or two short calls, if any. My wife took my phone to a Verizon store to get a new battery, and they ran a test on mine and found no problem with it. What they did say however was that they noticed that I had the GPS locator on all the time rather than the "911 only" setting. Being a police officer, I had changed this setting knowing that if my phone was ever stolen, or even my vehicle was stolen with the phone in it, it would be much easier to track this way.
