Switching from Cingular to Verizon..A990 first phone in plan!
😈 I can't wait..I'm cancelling Cingular and aquiring Verizon...the SCH-A990 will be my first Verizon phone, (girlfriend has the 8100.) I was considering the 8300, but there's too much about this phone I'd rather have!

I just want to say, yeah, I've been with Cingular for 4.5yrs, but my patience is really, really running out, haven't been under contract since 10/30/05, . . . so I don't blame you @ all for leaving Cingular for lack of innovative handsets, I just hope you tell them why your leaving, that they don't have anything that impresses you, tell them THAT! ! !

With VZW, not only you may have this high-end cool phone, also you'll enjoy some better features releasing in couple months, such as prorated early termination fee, back-up phonebook info in VZW server for free, upgrade new phone with discounted price after one year (or free phone after two years) etc.

Thanks for the kudos and good words, friends! 🤭 That was pretty nice of you all..Yeah, I ha my reasons for switching..I won't get into huge details, but for the past two months, Cing decided to rape my wallet an additional $120/mo for a total monthly bill of $210..twice! It was absolutely a snafu on thier end, but still..best way to avoid it is to cancel them altogether.
There's other reasons..the Verizon offerings seem to be flagship in the cell market this side of the Big Blue, I know nobody else with Cingular than I (was), the SCH-A990 won't soon be out of date 😁 , and well..my girlfriend has Verizon, so free messaging and calling sounds great! (It's a big switch for a normal gf, but i've dated her for 9 years off and on..so ye...
