Whenever i am charging my A990, the backlight stays lit the entire time it is plugged in. Is this normal or am i missing a setting or something/somewhere? Thanks in advance

Mine does the same thing, I think that it was just a design flaw because I hate it when I am trying to go to sleep and it is blaring.

actually there is a way to make it dim. I did it to mine, but it was months ago and don't remember how I did it, but there's hope. Maybe just check the manual again.
