SCH-A990 MP3's for Rintones
With the SCH A-990, I see you can use recorded sounds for rintones, but can you use shortened MP3's for rintones?

Go to mobile17.com and you can upload whatever song you want there off your PC and they will send back to you as a pic message. Save the sound and then make that your ring tone. It will play back up to 40 seconds of your favorite song.

Just use the Samsung A970 as the phone or any other Samsung that works for Verizon. It doesn't matter.

Have you found a way to do ringtones? How do you use the voice record to make ringtones, I tried and the my sounds folder makes the recording invisible when tring to assign it to a ringer.
