LG AX-490
Has anyone used their 490 with a bluetooth?
The main reason I purchased this phone was to use the bluetooth. I have tried 2 headsets, and each of them results in the person on the other end hearing an annoying echo of themselves. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, I was told that I may have had the volume up too high. I tried turning the volume down, this did cut down on the echo, but then I could barely hear the person.

I have sold a couple of these phones but I havent actually paired one up with a bluetooth headset yet. I have experienced the problem your'e experiencing though, and it may be caused by your volume control. If you have the phone and headset volume both all the way up, that could be the cause of the problem. Try adjusting the volumes while you are on a call and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply. I was told the same thing by the guy I made the purchase with. I have tried turning the volume down,and it does seem to alleviate some of the echo, but then it is very difficult to hear the person on the other end - especially if I am in my car driving.
