BT crippled

by whiskey7    Jul 19, 2006, 10:46 AM

Based on the C-Net review, the only thing that the Bluetooth on this phone can be used for is a headset and a business card application.

So, it sounds like you can not send the pictures that you take with the camera to your computer via Bluetooth.

The last time I checked, with Sprint you need to have the Picture Pack option ($5/mo) to have the ability to send pictures over the internet. You will also pay for data usage when sending pics if you don't have a vision plan.

That whole picture situation is one thing I don't like about Sprint. I just got a Samsung d407 on Cingular and it allows you to send your pictures via BT. Also, Cingular lets you send individual pictures by multi-media-messaging for 25 cents each when you don't have a data or messaging plan. This is a good option when you only want to take a few pictures each month.
