I have a VZW phone and I do DUN with it. Not all VZW phones are crippled for DUN. You probably mean the Bluetooth! BUT the BT specs for the VX5300 includes DUN!

I still want a future user of this phone to confirm my original post.

DUN is Dial Up Networking. The DUN feature of a phone allows you to connect a laptop or desktop computer to the Internet using a USB cable or Bluetooth.
