Replying to: Anyone bought or using Jitterbug? by Brown Norway Dec 11, 2006, 3:01 PM
Be careful! I purchased one for my mother for christmas. I was told it would ship that day arrive in 2 days and it took over 7 days to receive it. I was told I would receive a gift card (although the customer service agent was unsure of the value) to give to my mother for christmas due to the late shipping. I received a card saying I had purchased the phone with 0 $$ value. The phone arrived late and did not have a local number. They said in order to find out if I could obtain a local number would take 45 days, however the return policy is 30 days. The hold time for customer service was over 20 minutes and I had to make multiple calls to get a Return Authorization number. I now have to pay for one months service and the shipping for the product both ways and we never were able to use the service. No coverage maps or local number information is available when you order and the service is expensive. The phone is ugly too.
