Well I have done some research and have phones that are better than 6900 HP. That will be on the market soon, Cingular has actually notified their stores. Also found some that haven't had any releases. All by HTC. One is the phone that is on phonescoops home page the other is the TyTN by HTC. http://www.htc.com/03-roducts-1.htm This is what I want and what a pda phone should be. ALthough GPS would be nice or great. Why is it they never have everything they should?? 🙂

Anyway I don't know if getting the 6900 serries is worth it especially for the money.

The phone that cingular employees got an anouncement about is the HTC Libra. Not sure on the dates, but they usuaully don't get announcements if at all untill like at most 2 weeks out, give or take. But I really like the TyTN from HTC but I only found it on there site and haven't heard of any release time on that. So if a phone doesn't have 3G then your paying for the service with out any of the benifits. I guess HP and all the other new none 3G phones will have to bite the bullet and release there 3G's now instead of releasing new outdated phones.

yeah thats true..but not not just the 3G...the HP device just does not in any way satisfy my desires for that price. It is a great phone im sure of that, but for $600, a phone has to have ALL the features and current technological standards. What is the Libra? What kind of design does it have? So because cingy got an announcement on it, you think it will be out within the next 2 weeks?

The Libra is actually on the homepage of phonescoop.com right now. But it doesn't have GPS, which I think is a feature all phones need especially a pda phone. As for the release and 2 weeks not sure just surmising from from what I have heard about how Cingy operates. They also release phones with out any warning the store just gets them and is like "Ok???". Did you check out the TyTN phone on HTC's site? Also don't have a price on Libra, but I would think that a compnay that wants market share to build a name would set a low price. The Dessign is an non flip but with sliding keyboard to the side.

thats good the keyboard is important. But could you not buy pocket streets to use as a GPS? or is there some special hardware that you need. I know cingy always releases phones at random times. I bought the 8125 back when it first came out in february, but returned it because it was just slower then anything. Hopefully something a little faster comes out. Otherwise it was a great phone.

oh i did not know that. hmm..well GPS would be nice, but i guess you have to count in everything else also, ie. other current technology that is available in the phone, which makes it worth more.
