The HP web page for the HW6940 has finally changed today. Instead of just coming soon they are now showing the 6940 and 6945 model with a purchase option function that doesn't work. A check with sales shows they are still saying "this week" and now add this is official. If it is to be believed they are going to sell the two above models unlocked off their web page. There was no mention of any "branded" models (fine with me). I don't know if it means anything but it is the first time the 6900 web page has changed in months.

Wow that was fast. Rechecked the web page a couple of hours later and they removed it and went back to the old page. Guess they were getting a bunch of inquiries and took it down. This is getting weird.
