The "We Want Money" argument doesn't apply; nor is the UI the cause of not being able to have open-access to the bluetooth. That's a problem directed to Verizon Wireless's wireless content provider and their restrictions placed on Verizon Wireless for their wireless phones.
And last I did, I was able to put 30 second clips for ringtones on my VX-8300. It didn't break my brain or my phone.
Your issue is not the user interface, else you would be addressing the problems with the user interface (i.e., it is poorly organized, certain options are inaccessible, it's clunky, it's slow, it crashes, it calls your mother a whore.) Please stop using the UI as a strawman. Your issue here is Verizon Wireless's business practices and how you feel made a victim of some big corporate money-scheme. Well. Tough.
