Casio G'zOne Type-V

I also just got this phone today and would like to get rid of the two red bars. Has anyone figured out a way to do it yet?

Also, if I want to use photos from my computer, do I email them to my phone? Can I send a jpg format or do I need to change the format?

I also can't seem to figure out what the Banner is? I've tried changing it but I can't figure out what it's changing.
